Cumbia Ebria se formó a principios del 2006, precisamente en la zona portuaria, en el área industrial de Puerto Naos (Arrecife).
Su participación en citas como el Fuerteventura en Músicas (Fuerteventura), Canarias at the Hotel (Tenerife), Festival de Músicas Alternativas (FMAC) o Sonidos Líquidos (Lanzarote) permite que la banda se presente en otras islas y península.
